El grupo PeR con "Here we go" representará a Letonia en Malmö

La televisión letona. LTV, emitió anoche desde Ventspils su final nacional, "Dziesma 2013", 

Tras la primera ronda de votaciones: Marta Ritova con "I Am Who I Am", Samanta Tīna con "I Need A Hero" y PeR con "Here We Go" consiguieron el paso a la súper final. En la segunda ronda de votación los vencedores fueron el grupo PeR

PeR que significa "Please, explain the rhythm" es un grupo letón de beatbox formado por Ralfs Eilands y Edmunds Rasmanis. El grupo se formó como trío en 2007 y su primera aparición fue en el festival "Dziesma manai paaudzei", para después participar en el festival ruso "Minuto de gloria". También han participado en el famoso festival New Wave y el Got Talent letón, llegando a la final del concurso. El grupo participó por primera vez en la preselección letona para Eurovisión en 2009 a dúo con Sabine Berezina con el tema "Bye, bye" con el que quedaron novenos. En 2010 volvieron con "Like a mouse" quedando décimos. En 2012 su tema "Disco Superfly" quedó quinto en la preselección y Ralfs Eilands fue uno de los miembros del jurado letón en Eurovisión 2012. Este año han llegado a la final con dos canciones "Here we go" y "Sad trumpet".

Letonia participará en la segunda semifinal de Eurovisión 2013 el 16 de mayo en Malmö
