El público otorgó la victoria a Cezar con el tema "It's my life". En la clasificación final quedarón segundos el grupo Electric Fence y tercera Luminița Anghel, representante rumana en Eurovisión 2005.
Cezar Florin Ouatu, es un soprano rumano nacido en Ploiesti hace 33 años. Durante 12 años ha estado viviendo en Italia donde ha interpretado papeles en las óperas más importantes. El año pasado volvió a Rumanía dispuesto a dedicarse al pop ópera. Tiene pendiente dos duetos con Andrea Bozzelli y Angela Gheorghiou, así como un single del mítico grupo electrónico Vangelis. Su tema "It's my life" está compuesto por Cristian Faur (autor del "Let me try" de Luminița Anghel & Sistem en Eurovisión 2005), quién propuso a Cezar su participación en la preselección rumana para Eurovisión con este tema a través de Facebook.
